Boycott Heaven Hill Distillery Products in Response to Their Move To Permanently Replace Striking Workers
by Region 8 Webmaster John Davis

Union members at UFCW Local 23D, Bardstown, Kentucky have been on strike against parent company Heaven Hill Distillery. The local union has been trying to negotiate a contract but the company demands healthcare cost hikes, schedule changes and overtime cuts.

Local 23D members worked around the clock during the COVID 19 pandemic, not only bottling their traditional bourbon but also making hand sanitizer for use in hospitals. After building company revenues to $195,000,000, Heaven Hill Distillery decided to bargain in bad faith and announced they would replace striking workers with permanent replacement workers effective October 25, 2021.

We cannot allow this company to discard its workers and replace them with a cheap workforce. Bourbon is aged for six to eight years, so Heaven Hill will continue to profit off these union workers for years after they were terminated without cause. Please BOYCOTT all Heaven Hill Distillery products until they agree to return to the bargaining table and bargain in good faith.

Heaven Hill Distillery products include:

Elijah Craig Bourbons
Evan Williams Bourbons
Fighting Cock Bourbon
Georgia Moon Corn Whiskey
Old Fitzgerald Bourbon
Admiral Nelson’s Premium Spiced Rums
Parker´s Heritage Collection
Deep Eddy Vodkas
